Ang Sayaw ng Dalawang Kaliwang Paa The movie Ang Sayaw Ng Dalawang Kaliwang Paa starring Eddie Garcia is a gripping, action-packed thriller set around the sale of Grade 5 school textbooks in an impoverished area in Manila. The film tackles heavy social issues such as poverty, child labor, and consumerism. It tells the story of how one man decides to stop the sale of these textbooks which will be used for children in poorer communities. Nanampal ang Sayaw is a film about children, their lives on the streets of the slums of the big city, on how they are exploited by people peddling drugs or are forced to beg because their parents are too poor to afford to feed them. The story also tackles issues about commercialism. A white school teacher Tom Vitangcol (Eddie Garcia) is asked by his brother-in-law, Hermie (Paul Salas), who runs a small bookstore in the same neighborhood, to help him in stopping two Chinese businessmen (John Regala and Rene Cayetano) who want to sell Grade 5 textbooks that they acquired (supposedly second hand). Tom, who is also a school teacher, strongly objects to this because he believes that these textbooks might be used by the poorer schools in the community. Hermie falls ill and has to be hospitalized for three weeks. While taking care of Hermie's bookstore, Tom comes across one of his former students named Maria (Dawn Zulueta) who is now peddling books to help her family out. Tom decides to help Maria sell the books not knowing that there are hidden drugs in them. This immediately puts him into trouble when he is later ambushed by thugs working for Jack (Jiro Manio) and Bino (Johnny Delgado) over the drug business in their neighborhood. Tom finds out that the people behind the sale of these textbooks are two Chinese businessmen named Pek (John Regala) and Li (Rene Cayetano) who earn their living by stealing valuable objects in the Philippines. The only problem is that Tom doesn't know where they are located. Things get more complicated when Jack finds out Tom's connection to Hermie through his brother-in-law. It also turns out that Maria is not just Maria, she's also Hermie's daughter whom he has never met. Later on, a drug addict named Sylvia (Cherry Pie Picache), son of a military police officer Willie (Ronaldo Valdez), finds a valuable object in the area and tries to sell it. Tom buys the object for a cheaper price thinking that it is junk. Tom re-unites with Maria (who's now an anti-drug campaigner), with help from the members of his teaching staff. After Hermie recovers, Tom finds out where Pek and Li are located by finding their phone numbers in the textbook boxes. He also discovers that they might be planning to sell Grade 10 textbooks with similar contents, making it easy for Pek and Li to acquire more money with which to steal more valuable objects. The people involved in selling these textbooks are informed by Hermie of Tom's actions against them and they decide to get back at him by selling some books around school premises. cfa1e77820
